How Does Fibroblast Skin Tightening Work?
The fibroblast treatment has risen in status and appeal due to the many advantages over a surgical treatment. There is less downtime, it’s less costly, no cutting of the skin and no stitches. This means you're able to resume your normal activities even sooner.
Fibroblasts, aka Plasma skin tightening is fairly new in The United States but has been safely and successfully practiced throughout Europe and Asia for some time. The precision plasma instrument works by making use of the voltage in the air between the device tip and skin to release a plasma charge. This electric flow, or arc, immediately shrinks the skin in the targeted area. This tissue retraction is what allows final results that are far more advantageous to invasive surgery.

How Long Does It Last?
Plasma Fibroblast isn’t like putting on a gimmicky tightening cream. This is actually a cosmetic treatment and technique. When performed properly you could expect results to last as long as they would by having an invasive surgery. Like any surgical treatments the effects aren’t entirely permanent and won’t stop the aging process.
However, the results you get should last for years. The positive effect of a Plasma Fibroblast treatment should be noticeable quickly after the first treatment and continuing to improve over the next 3-4 weeks. Depending on the body part treated and expected results, an additional treatment may be required after 6 to 8 weeks. Bad lifestyle choices such as excessive sun, smoking, and excess alcohol consumption are discouraged to make sure you maintain lasting results. Those who want treatment should also be informed that individual genetics may have an impact on the length of treatment benefits.
What Can I Expect During The Day of Treatment?
You don’t want to wear makeup or use any moisturizers, lotions or creams on your day of treatment. Simply come in with clean skin. We suggest taking an antihistamine 1 hour prior to your appointment and continue to take antihistamines for 2-3 days after your treatment. This reduces inflammation in the treatment area.
A topical numbing agent is placed on the procedure area and left to take effect in 20 to 30 minutes. When the area becomes sufficiently numb the treatment begins. During the treatment you may feel a small amount of some heat or minor irritation. Treatment time will last from 45 minutes up to several hours depending on the size of the procedure area.
During the first appointment you will be provided with after care instructions. Following these instructions is critical for best results. No exfoliators or harsh cleansing agents should be used in the week following treatment. We highly recommend a pH balanced soap like Dove. You should also avoid rubbing or scratching the treated area.
What Side Effects Should I Expect?
Plasma Fibroblast is shown to be a safe and non-surgical procedure for hundreds of thousands of patients. This procedure has no stitches, needles or bloodshed in fibroblast.
Regardless of this, as with most cosmetic treatments, people are more prone to experience a small number of minor side-effects during the initial 5-10 days following the procedure.
Virtually all patients encounter minor itching in the procedure area for a single day.
Fibroblast treatment is a non-surgical lift procedure providing the same results as old-fashioned cosmetic operation. Fibroblast is safe and bloodless, without having anesthesia. Fibroblast is virtually painless with medical-grade anesthetic gel applied to the skin just before treatment. This advanced technique will not cause overlifting. Only excess skin is affected in the treatment. Patients are likely to see results right away, although it requires 2-4 weeks for the full effect to be visible. The Fibroblast procedure can only be completed by a well-trained and approved practitioner.
Yes. Any individual interested in Fibroblast treatment must bookan in-person consultation appointment. Thorough assessment by a Diva Brows Fibroblast specialist will assure the ideal plan for treatment. Many elements affect the aging process. Each person and treated area is distinctive and needs to be evaluated independently. Our goal is to keep clients educated and exceed their objectives.
When activated, the Fibroblast instrument creates a plasma flash which extends from the tool’s tip to the area of treatment. The device itself never touches the skin, however the plasma flash produces a tiny dot on the skin upon contact, tightening the surrounding skin. Further points are applied, resulting in a symmetrical grid within the procedure area. This essentially will cause the tightening up of skin fibers. Only the skin surface is impacted. The skin's deeper layer known as the basal lamina will not be harmed. Fibroblast is non-invasive procedure, no cuts to the skin or stitching is necessary. Fibroblast is totally without blood and without any unnecessary damages to adjacent skin cells.
To greatly reduce any discomfort a medical-grade skin numbing gel will be used on the procedure area. It should take up to 30 minutes for the topical anesthetic to take effect. The treatment itself usually takes between 15-30 minutes depending on the size of the treated area. Your appointment should not last longer than an hour.
Fibroblast is non-surgical treatment, with virtually no pain and very little soreness reported by patients after the treatment. A medical grade topical anesthetic gel is used to numb the treated area right before treatment. Immediately after the procedure the skin will probably be reddened and lightly swollen. This may usually last up to 3 days, though slight redness may remain for up to 2 weeks. Throughout the process carbon crusts will form on the skin directly where the Fibroblast equipment was utilized. Crusts should not be touched for 5-7 days, but post-procedure foundation may be used to conceal them. In order to reduce additional complications you will be informed on proper aftercare following your treatment.
Fibroblast Treatment is incredibly safe and side-effects are infrequent but with as with any medical skin treatment, infection, scarring and temporary change of skin pigmentation may occur. Carbon crusts, tiny superficial dots which form directly on the skin, are part of the common healing process. When correctly treated with after-cream, all these tiny dots will drop off 5-7 days after treatment has been performed. Minimal inflammation can be expected throughout the first 3 days and are most commonly fully gone within 5 days.
Absolutely yes. It is essential that you follow our after care guidelines. Carbon crusts CANNOT be scratched off or removed. Drying the skin by blotting using a clean, lint-free material is permitted. Aftercare cream should be reapplied to the area often. Healing skin must be protected from direct sun with SPF50 sun screen. Sports, including swimming and sauna are not authorized until crusts go away. This will occur within 7 days of procedure.
Fibroblast is very safe, nonetheless in some uncommon occasions additional complications may occur. Please talk to your Diva Brows Fibroblast consultant without delay in case of any extraordinary symptoms. This may include warning signs of infection which can include excessive redness, pus, blistering or a dense, yellow crust building in procedure area.
The treated skin area will be have carbon crusts which form during the the procedure. They must not be rubbed off therefore it is important to stay away from any moisturizing creams for between 5 and 7 days. This is typically when crusts go away. On top of that patients must avoid almost all strong heat sources including the sun, UV radiation, saunas etc for a one month timeframe.
There are no specialized requirements before the treatment. We suggest not applying any cosmetics ahead of the treatment. You should inform your Fibroblast practitioner about any current health concerns and medicines you take. Bring up any cosmetic procedures or aesthetic treatments presently conducted on your skin.
Most patients will feel the effect of the procedure instantly. Even so the healing will persist and full results will be observable within 4 weeks. In some circumstances patients may require multiple treatments. This depends on the treatment area, skin condition as well as patient’s expectations.
Often just one single treatment could be enough, particularly with lesser corrections. The majority of the treatments will be determined by the length and width of the treated area and the client's desired quantity of correction. The entire effect of the first treatment are observable up to a month following the treatment. If the patient calls for additional treatment to achieve maximum results, those need to be scheduled at 6 to 8 week time periods. Effectiveness of the Fibroblast non-surgical skin-tightening procedure is comparable to traditional techniques. In order to assess the amount of required treatments a face-to-face consultation appointment is needed.
The fibroblast procedure should last long term rather than just a few months. Although it is difficult to predict exactly what your results may be. Maturity is a dynamic progression and there are many aspects affecting patients individually. Lifestyle, eating habits and genetics are just a few criteria. Currently permanent outcomes are unachievable, after a Fibroblast treatment or standard surgery, the skin is subjected to aging. The actual skin will continue to relax (loosen) once again. In a few extraordinary circumstances, aging could be accelerated and the effectiveness of Fibroblast can be lessened. Your Diva Brows Fibroblast specialist will discuss those circumstances, to make sure patients have a greater understanding of what to prepare for.
Absolutely yes, it is. Fibroblast is a revolutionary state-of-the-art product made in Germany. What this means is that the related equipment meets very high safety, health and environmental protection requirements. Fibroblast treatment is already quite popular across Europe. It has rapidly become the choice for those exploring a non-surgical skin lift. You will be asked by your Diva Brows Fibroblast professional to fill out and sign a consent agreement. All possible side effects will be very carefully defined.
Fibroblast may be used for many various skin issues. Eyelid tightening, body lifting, acne treatment, scar treatment, and stretch-marks. If you suffer from any of the above conditions but hesitated with standard surgical procedures, non-invasive Fibroblast treatment could possibly be the right solution you need.
